All of the goats at Arch Angel Farm in Manhattan, Kansas are ADGA registered, purebred Nubians.
Sourced from Goddard Farm in Lecompton, KS, our entire herd is CAE free and has G6S normal DNA.
We prefer the quality of the purebred Nubian ladies' milk ... historically, the quantity can sometimes be slightly lacking compared to other goat breeds.
We milk our ladies 6 at a time, twice a day. They enjoy classical music during milking, and a gingersnap after.
Our herd of 9 dairy goats produced 23 kids this season.
We currently have 23 kids on the farm.
On sunny days, they love to relax in the sun on the rock formation or play in the yearling pen.
The kids were all weaned at 3 months. They get 2 formula bottles per day, and they also enjoy grain and alfalfa shoots.
